Share The World!

Travel is an excellent opportunity for learning and understanding! Most of us have been able to travel the world and learn different cultures, customs and points of view, expanding our horizon and stimulating our minds. We can share this wonderful experience of travel with others who don´t have the means to do so.

Share the World is a program where rural schools participate in trips internationally or within their own country. Based on the theme of the trip, students engage in different educational activities as well as with interaction with other students. It positively impacts the life of students and motivates them to set personal goals that can only be achieved by staying in school.

Some example trips include:

● Visit Jiquilisco Bay, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve where students learn about sea turtle conservation along local biologists.
● Visit Suchitoto Colonial Town where students learn about Indigo, a Maya blue natural colorant. It is very important to the history of El Salvador.
● Travel to another country! Visit Guatemala, a country which is far more advanced in tourism development. Students hike Pacaya Volcano, learn the history of Antigua Guatemala and learn from local expert guides about the profession.
